Humanize My Hoodie Movement is embarking on a major global hoodie giveback! The wholesale cost + the labor of organizing locations (and sizes) for giveaways for Parkside Community Academy and Dunbar Vocational School Alumni in Chicago, Six Black Student Unions in Madison, Black Male Summit in Saint Paul + shipping/handling to Haiti, Ghana, and Sri Lanka = $20,000 for 2,000 hoodies.

By sponsoring hoodies, you are empowering marginalized people (predominantly youth) to stand tall against micro aggressions and other forms of oppression. That’s been our feedback since we started this. “My son wears that damn hoodie everyday!” LOL! The parents love the brand because it gives their children confidence to thrive against all odds. We want to spread that feeling across the globe.

Because we are an LLC, we don’t receive grants. Being a LLC has been a powerful way to facilitate conversations and ask for support from community instead of grants with limited stipulations- as well as participating in the nonprofit industrial complex.
